Liquid's Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski has claimed a career-first MVP award by HLTV.org and betway at DreamHack Masters Dallas.

The 21-year-old earned the award after spearheading Liquid's undefeated run at DreamHack Masters Dallas as his team's highest-rated and most consistent player, recording 1.00+ ratings on all 11 maps.

EliGE started off well in the group stage as one of Liquid's key players en route to the playoffs, but it was an incredible performance in the bracket stage, featuring an outstanding 1.59 rating in the semi-final against FURIA and a 1.22 rating in the grand final versus ENCE, that pushed him to the top of the list of MVP candidates.

In the end, the American outdid his teammate Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken in the close race to the award, as well as two of his final opponents; Jere "⁠sergej⁠" Salo and Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli.

EliGE appears in a number of leaderboards with exceptional damage-dealing (84.9 ADR), fragging (0.82 KPR), and clutching (6) – the most notable of which was a quick 1v4 in the late stages of Nuke against FURIA, which helped Liquid close out the opening map.
